My Favorite Pet

I love dogs as my pet. My doggy’s name is Goldy. It is a Spaniel, white colored dog. It has long and silky hair all over the body. It has a very good habit as he uses toilet whenever needed. Its blue colored eyes charm me very much. I understand its every language through its eyes. When it feels hungry it uses to take smell on its own pot again and again. I spend my leisure time with it. Its warm welcome by shaking tail makes me pleased after returning from outside. Then I have to take Godly in my lap and softly rub my hand on itself and it enjoys the care and love by closing its eyes. Everybody should take care of their innocent pets.

My Favorite Holiday

Thanksgiving was always my favorite holiday. It was a time to give thanks for all we had been given. It was also a great excuse to eat some really well cooked goodies by tableful. My family also used it for an impromptu family reunion every year. Depending who was around, it was held at the home with the most space for tables and chairs so no one had an excuse to eat in front of the TV (until after the dishes were done). It was also fortunate that my birthday was celebrated on that day every few years! Pumpkin pie was my favorite birthday cake!

My Favorite Book

I read this book when I was 12, the summer I contracted Rheumatic fever. I had a lot of free time during those months for reading. This one book opened my mind and imagination to new arenas. That book was A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle. I quickly followed it up with the other three books in the quartet. Science fiction has been my fascination since I was eight. I watched the moon landing on TV with my family at eleven. Only my fear of heights and my health kept me from becoming an astronaut. Time travel…not so far in the future, I think.

Things To Know About Rabbits As Pet

Are you planning to adopt a pet rabbit? Then, you should make sure to know them first. Here are few things about rabbits that I could share to you:
1. Rabbits are social type of animal and they are happier in pairs.
2. They do not want to be held or cuddled.
3. They easily get bored so make sure to prepare activities for them.
4. They have strong odor of urine so you need to clean rabbit cages regularly.

Information mentioned in this post will help you learn more about rabbits. Of course, the more information that you learned about them the more you become prepared to adopt one for yourself.

Make Money From Stocks

My ambition in life is to make a lot of money from the stock market. Before the financial crisis I was generating a good cash flow however this came to an abrupt end in 2008. For 2012 I intend to do a lot of trading. I am mainly interested in blue chips stocks. I am interested in the resource and financial sector. I currently hold banking and oil stocks. I used to trade small cap stocks however they became too risky. My goal is to make at least $100,000 for the financial year. I am going to research each company prior to investing in the particular stock.

Adopting A Pet For The First Time

I never had a pet all my life but this year, I feel like having a pet and I chose a rabbit. My friend has different breeds of rabbits and when I visited her house two weeks ago I fell in love with the tame and gorgeous looking rabbits. Now, I decided to have a pet rabbit of my own. I am planning to adopt a pair of rabbit because my friend mentioned that rabbits are happier in pair. I already talked to my brother to build the rabbit cages in our backyard. I also have a supplier for rabbit pellets already. I guess, I am just waiting for my dearest rabbits to arrive. My friend told me that she would bring the rabbits to the vet first before she brings them in the house.

What Summer Brings To Mind

I grew up in the western United States, so when I think of summer, I think of county fairs, rodeos and 4H sales. Where I lived, the summers were temperate and balmy, and the sky was huge and blue from horizon to horizon. Summer makes me think of 4th of July parties, with fireworks and delicious food. This season also makes me think of long days and warm nights, and sleeping under the stars. When I was a kid it seemed like summer went on forever, but now it seems too short. The smell of warm hay instantly reminds me of the summers of my youth.

My Friend For Life

When I was younger, the most influential people in my life were, without question, my parents. I am an only child, and I have great parents who always supported me in whatever I was interested in. When I was twenty years old, I met the man who would eventually become my husband. Having been with this man for over eleven years now, I can say without question that he is the most influential and important person in my life. We became  adults  together, and if it were not for my husband, I would not be the person I am today. He has constantly challenged me to do my best at everything I do and he has always been there for me as a friend, a companion and the person I love.

Cages For Your Rabbits

It is our right to have a safe and comfortable home. Animals are not an exception because they too deserve all the good things. If you want an animal to be a pet, make sure you give everything that they need. If you cannot provide that, might as well not consider having one. If you specifically decide to have pet rabbit, there are things that you should consider to raise them successfully. The first thing that should concern you is to secure a rabbit cage or hutch. Hutches should be spacious so rabbit hutch have plenty of room to grow, sleep, eat and play. There are many hutches that you can choose. What is good is that they are not that expensive. If you feel like designing your own hutch, you are free to do so. After that, you should provide them with foods. After all they only need grass or hays. You should remember that you are responsible for the welfare of your pet rabbit. You should do your best to provide and everything else will be easy.

My Husband

For a college admission essay, I recently had to answer, “Who’s the most important person in your life?” For me, it was obvious – the most important person in my life is my husband. He is the source of my joy and happiness. He is my constant companion and best friend, and the father of my children. He supports my goals, comforts me in times of sorrow, and encourages me to follow my dreams. Without him, I honestly don’t know where I would be today. Sure, we have our arguments just like any married couple, but at the end of the day I know he will always be there for me, just as I will always be there for him. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
